Parker Campaign Kickoff Raises Over $10,000, Draws New Supporters

SPOKANE – Kevin Parker kicked off his campaign for the Washington State House of Representatives on Tuesday, May 13, at the Davenport Hotel. The Honorable George Nethercutt, former member of the US House of Representatives, introduced Parker to a crowd of over 200 Spokane area residents—which included local business owners, elected officials, and enthusiastic supporters. Nethercutt praised Parker for his energy and vision, calling him the candidate best prepared to move Washington in a new and better direction.
The event raised over $10,000 in individual donations and increased his financial base to over 340 contributors. In a race which has drawn statewide attention, Parker is proud that, over 90% of his donors are local residents.
Parker said, “I am deeply humbled by the outpouring of support I’ve received from the Spokane community. It is proof positive that the people of the 6th Legislative District are ready for a new direction in Washington State. I will work with tireless energy to make that happen.”
Kevin Parker, a graduate of Whitworth University, is the founder and president of GTG Ventures, which owns and operates an expanding business of three coffee shops in the Spokane area. He and his wife Kerry are proud parents of their two young daughters, Emelia and Eve.
